| "What is the Print Your Own Books
Evangelism Project?" |
|
|
Wayne Wright (Master Of
Divinity, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) has
written four small books that present the gospel from
various perspectives. He has put these books on CD's so
that they can be printed from any computer/printer for
just the cost of paper and ink. The books
are:
*Eternal Life In Jesus
Christ
*Jesus Claimed To Be
God
*Jesus Is The Messiah
*The Homosexual And The
Gospel
It is the purpose of this project for
churches and individuals to print and give these books
away, FREE, until our society is saturated with the
gospel!
There are many uses for these books
inside the church. But the fact is, THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPE WILL NEVER COME INSIDE
OUR CHURCHES. | |

| We Must Make The Gospel Available To
Non-Christians In "Their World". |
|
|
We must not wait for people to come to us to hear
the gospel. We must take the gospel to them. Not only
will the vast majority of people never come to our
churches, they also wll never listen to Christian radio
nor watch Christian TV. These ministries are excellent,
and many people will be reached through them, but the
vast majority will not. The sooner we admit these facts,
the sooner we will focus on getting the gospel into the
"world" of the non-Christian.
The PRINT YOUR OWN BOOKS, Evangelism
Project is a SIMPLE,
INEXPENSIVE, EFFECTIVE, NON-OFFENSIVE way to involve thousands of Christians in a plan
for reaching our world with the gospel.
Jesus said in Matthew 13:19:
"When anyone hears the word of the
kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one
comes and snatches away what was sown in his
heart".
It is imperative that the gospel be
presented in a clear, complete, understandable manner.
Most tracts are too short and leave too many questions
unanswered.
These books are long enough to be
complete enough.
They are short enough to be
readable.

Needed: |

The great need is for a
plan that will involve the average Christian in a "grass
roots" outreach to our society. We need to be aggressive
without being offensive. We must present the gospel in
an understandable way to those who will never come
inside our churches. We need a plan that is not hindered

When 1,000 people are printing and giving away
just 50 copies per month, there will be 50,000 books per
month being distributed. If the books are read by an
average of two people, then 100,000 people per month
will be understanding the gospel message of salvation.
In one year, 1,200,000 people will have been
reached.
On Million, Two Hundred Thousand
Per Year!
When 10,000 people are printing and
giving away 50 copies per month, we will be reaching
12,000,000 per year.
Twelve Million Per Year!
When 50,000 people are printing and
giving away 50 books per month, we will be reaching
60,000,000 per year.
Sixty Million Per Year!
This project can allow ANY person to
have an effective ministry of evangelism. God's Word
will not return void. If we expose people to the message
of salvation, people will respond. This project will
reach people who, otherwise, would never hear the

What To Do: |
|
|
Organize teams (or individuals) to use the
computer CD's from the PRINT YOUR OWN BOOKS,
Evangelism Project to print, collate, staple, fold,
and deliver these books to that team's "Target
Area."

- Hospital waiting rooms
- Retirement Centers
- Nursing Homes
- Local Schools
- Laundromats
- Truck Stops
- Apartment Complexes
- Neighboorhoods
- Businesses that have waiting areas
- Retail businesses, box: FREE, TAKE ONE
- Jails or Prisons
- Mail to celebrities and politicians
- Keep books in your car to give away as the Holy
Spirit impresses you.
Put your church name, address, and phone
number on the back of each book. Put the books in
plastic bags to hang on the door of a home or apartment.
